Run Your Own Race

My challenge to you today is: run your race. Don’t let people squeeze you into their mold. Remember, you don’t have to try to play up to people. You don’t have to worry about what everyone else thinks. As long as you’re being true to what God has put in your heart, don’t look to the left or to the right. Stay focused on your goals. Run your race to win and honor God in everything that you do!

Seize Every Opportunity

You have no guarantee that you will live tomorrow. Whatever you’re going to do, you better do it now.  

My Friday Daily Hope spoke about "Jesus telling us to seize the moment" and I stand 100% behind this philosophy. Why would you not want to seize every opportunity that comes your way. Why would you pray over and over for God to open a door and then you fall back and allow this door to close. I have news for all my dreamers out there, when God give you a dream He is showing your destiny in glimpse pieces of a puzzle that you might not fully understand but you understand the power behind the dream. I've prayed about this opportunity for the past 6 years and when God opened up this door I ran full throttle and didn't bother to look back. My life is full of "newness" but with the faith I have and the accountability knowing that He brought me here for a reason I don't worry.

Like my friend A. Cloud stated" You cannot worry and pray at the same time. Shows your lack of faith in God"

I'm not worried one bit..........seizing every opportunity that comes my way :)

Every day, there are opportunities all around you for a fresh start, but you don’t take advantage of them. Why? One word: procrastination.

Procrastination is a strange phenomenon. We think it will make our lives easier; we think it will make our lives more present when actually it just creates more stress. The truth is, you already know the right things to do and the benefits of doing the right things in life. So why don’t you do them?

He Is REAL

I knew deep in my heart that 24 was going to be GREAT but God has proven these exact thoughts! I'm blessed and all I can do is say thank you.

“Father, I remember right now the love of Jesus. Thank you for the miracles you’ve worked in my life. God, help me to remember your grace and to be gracious. I remember your generosity toward me. I ask you for the strength to be generous toward others. I trust that you will be with me, and I trust that you will finish what you have started in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
