His Promises

Ahhhhh. Incredible Incredible Incredible. I love the Lord!
I just love homeskillet for his steady motivation and faith in me and keenphoto one of the most humble people I've ever met and she has such a beautiful soul!

Just a few words of constant encouragement. Taking the time out to smell the flowers, I know success will follow but in the meantime I'll live.

I don't know
About tomorrow
I just live from day to day
And I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to gray
And I don't worry about my future
For I know what Jesus said
And today He walks beside me
For He knows what lies ahead
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to under-understand
But I, I know, I know, I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds, who holds my hand
Oh yeah, yeah, yes, hey, yes
Who holds my hand

No Limits

Our Deepest Fear
Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

THE BLACK GIRLS ROCK PLEDGE

I am a Black girl. My life is important. I am the continuation of a history, legacy and tradition of powerful people. The lives of my fore mothers now have meaning through me. I stand today because of who they were.

I am a Black girl. My presence is essential. I am a demonstration of the past, an inspiration for the future, and I represent the unlimited possibilities of the present moment.

I am a Black girl. I have a voice. I say the important things that need to be said. I do not waste my voice on gossip, slander or disrespect of myself, my sisters or other people. I know the power of the spoken word and I use my words wisely.

I am a black girl. I know my worth. I hold myself in high esteem because I value who I am. I treat myself with loving care, respect and honor. I honor and hold sacred my mind, my body and my heart.

I am a Black girl. I am committed and confident. I am committed to a future that holds great possibilities for me, my family, and the world. As I move confidently into my next most appropriate steps, I am inspired by life and I inspire others.

I am a Black girl. I have a vision for myself and a vision for my life. It is a vision anchored in love, propelled by integrity and advanced by faith. I am committed to learning how I can improve all aspects of myself so that I will be the best me I can be.

I am a Black girl. I am not intimidated by anyone or anything. I bow to no one and nothing save my Creator. I move with elegance, grace and ease, effortlessly accomplishing all that I set my heart and mind to do when it serves my highest and greatest good.

I am a Black girl. My life is connected to a loving Creator who protects and guides me at all times. Therefore, I am humble and honorable; patient and powerful; focused and flexible; determined and dynamic; loved and loving.

Bestfriend

What ya'll tryna do
I like this, yeah

Oh, I don't know waht to do
I can't stop wanting you
Oh I'm in love, I'm in love with my best friend
It's tearing me apart (tearing me apart) because he has my heart
Oh I'm in love, I'm in love with my best friend

I've been wanting you for many life times now
And I'm so afraid tot tell you how I really feel
You have been there for me I was 13 and you were 14
Best friends for years, where do I go from here

Oh, Oh, I can't stop the way that I feel
Everytime I see you, I lose control
I just can't let it go, no
A kiss from you, ooh how does it feel, Oh I wonder
I'm so close to you, but I wanna get next to you,

Oh, I don't know what to do
I can't stop wanting you
Oh I'm in love, I'm in love with my bestfriend
It's tearing my apart because he has my heart
Oh, I'm in love, I'm in love with my best friend
When we're out together everybody smiles at us
Cause they think that you're my man, so I hold your hand
Like you're my man
I keep hoping that you'll notice me
And maybe one day you and I could be
Together more than jsut friends yeah

Oh, I can't hide the way that I feel
Everytime I see you I lose control
I can't let it go, no, no
Kissing you just won't be enough
I need all of you, I wish you wanted me
Like I want you, oh, yeah

Oh I don't know what to do
I can't stop wanting you
I'm in love, I'm in love with my bestfriend
It's tearing my apart, because he has my heart
I'm in love, I'm in love with my bestfriend

If you only could understand the things that he does for me,
Beautiful, wonderful, gorgeous and simplicity
He describes all the things that love is about for me

And I got to have him, yes I want him
I want him, I need him
I'm in love with my bestfriend
I'm in love, yeah

Oh, I don't know what to do
I can't stop wanting you
Oh, I'm in love I'm in love with my best friend
It's tearing me apart, because he has my heart
I'm in love I'm in love with my bestfriend

Outlook

I'll write about this later.

Who Am I, Really?

MAKE YOUR CHOICE

When you look at my face
Do my eyes tell the story
of Jesus the Nazarene,
How He's alive in glory?

Do you see His reflection
Like a mirror of truth?
Do you like what you see
When He looks back at you?

Do you feel the conviction
of God's Holy Spirit
For the sins you commit?
Or do you even want to hear it?

Do you lie, steal and lust,
Manipulate for your gain
While going through your life
Ignoring Jesus' pain?

Don't you know that He loves you?
He suffered and died for your life!
The Bible says that He is our husband
And we are His precious wife.

If you don't know Him right now
There's still time to call His name,
Before Revelation's day of judgment,
And the end of the game.

Yes, the end of the story
The devil's down on his luck.
When Jesus returns, are you going with Him,
Or in the flames will you be stuck?

Life isn't just about being a good person
Not if you win or lose,
It's living as though today is your last,
And which side is YOURS to choose.

The Word says choose this day
Who you plan to live for
We're never promised tomorrow
So keep reading to find out what's in store:

Those who love Christ
Will be in heaven forever.
No more sickness, worries, pain or grief
All sin erased, we will sing praise together.

The ones who deny the Lord
Will have a different ending
They will scream forever in torment,
Never seeing Jesus our King.

So now you know the rest of the story
And you must make a choice.
Choose Jesus today for life eternal
And proclaim His love with your voice.
