i really need to start reading my bible but I honestly don't know where to begin

who never speaks about salvation.

he never refers back to the bible, like ever thats why i can't attend his church

im not a bible scholar but we can have bible study and help each other.

at one point i started reading the book of proverbs and thats how far i got

Its more to it than just reading the bible. You have to want God with your whole heart.

Alot of people just come to Christ when things are going wrong in there lives. but im telling you

We have to really seek after him. Depending on the word of God to help you with everything.

well when i read i want him to give me a clearer understanding of what I'm reading, I don't read it likes its a book off the shelf but more of a guide to my entire life

Ask him for wisdom and understanding. To reveal things in The Word that you never knew.

Its great that your willing but you have to do just that. your words are only mere words, God wants action from us

He is not impressed with our words when our hearts and actions don’t match….
[4:20 PM] Brittany:
my actions will show him if I'm serious or not

Imagine if God only made promises but didn’t keep them, we wouldn’t like it. but He is the promise keeper and He is faithful even when we aren’t. you have to try harder.

honestly i need to do better

instead of me running around here like a chicken w/out a head trying to figure out what i wanna do in life, i need to go sit my tush down and talk with him. i already know he has my purpose set out but i need to be willing to accept the fact that its already been designed for me

and i know he'll guide me, i just need to ask him

when there is something that you want you go after it with everything you got. Thats how it needs to be with Christ. LOVE him with your whole heart mind and soul... you will be amazed at what happens
