Wake Up CALL!

Morgan: ummm yea well I was gonna tell you I was watching Joyce Meyer on TV on Sunday and she spoke about obedience.

Morgan: Just might be something good for you to hear, but she was making a point on the fact that obedience is not about living a boring lifestyle, but its about setting yourself free.
So for example... adam and eve...

Morgan: so they had access to all the trees in the garden, but there was that one tree that was off limits. Of course human nature pulls us toward the things that we "cant have" or tempts us do things that we "shouldn't do" according to God's word, but we have the choice to decide between life and death/happiness and sorrow. So adam and eve were naked, which equated to their freedom. But after they ate from the bad tree, and became disobedient, they realized they were naked, and essentially lost their freedom to enjoy life the way God wanted them to.

Morgan: So I think when we chose to be obedient we get much more out of life than we would otherwise. And God set certain "rules" to protect us, give us freedom, and guarantee us a fulfilling lifestyle. That's what obedience is all about, but we have to choose it. God is not going to choose it for us. The power to live in freedom and be happy remains with us.

Morgan: So I thought that was powerful, because its like God is pleading for us to choose life through him. Everything else equates to captivity and unhappiness.

everytime I go outside my boundaries everything crumbles and then I am running back to God
i need to stop doing that

Morgan: Yea, I think you deserve a lot more than you are experiencing (especially with them boys), but I think if you stay obedient, God is going to take care of you because He knows exactly what you need and want.

Morgan: Yea and I think you have a lot of offer, but you have to protect what you have and don't let these "boys" break you down piece by piece
